Beyond the Earth

June 16, 2008

You probably know all about Google Earth.  Have you ever used it to look up the pyramids in Egypt?

How about the Eiffel Tower?  Crop Circles?

You can do all of these things and even more with a site called Flash Earth.  It’s part of a larger site called Neave.  Besides being able to explore the planet from near or far, you can go to other amazing activities like Planetarium where you can explore the night sky and its constellations.

With Anaglyph you can create 3-D drawings. They look better with those red and blue 3-D glasses, but the site is really cool even without the glasses.

There are many other great “time wasters.”  FYI, though…. you’ll need the latest Flash Player, so be ready to download it if you haven’t updated your computer yet.
